Vote, vote and please vote. This is what we are hearing from the celebrities, news papers and from everyone. Daily there is someone on TV making an appeal to public to vote. “JagoRe…” campaign, advertisements, and stars all are provoking people to vote this summer during the elections to choose a new PM for the country. Some are more focused towards “Youth” concept and some are asking for Iron Man and “majboot sarkar” kind of things. Some people wants to revolutionize this elections and are demanding for change and some are saying that the way we are going is the best one and only this road can lead us to the light which we are feeling at the end of the tunnel we are going on. And some are saying that the light which we can see is of the train coming towards us which will run us down.
But in herd there are some who are unable to find their way, and are unable to choose the right people to vote who can bring a change to their life. People who by becoming their representatives can take them out the tunnel and can put them on right track.
Everyone says to choose the best, to choose the right. But who? Who is right and who is wrong. Who will explain this? Who will give us the definition of right or wrong? I don’t have the answer to this question. Looking for the answer to this question is just like to look for the needle in yellow grass.
Some says answer to this question lies within yourself. Its only oneself who can give himself the answer. Then I’ll say that even after knowing the answer some just go to vote for formality sake and some in exchange of handful of money and some for alcohol. If it’s only us who knows the answer to this question then why we never stood up when some of our chosen ones were promoting violence during Gujarat 2002 riots in the name of religion, why our chosen were there during 2008 Orissa riots when a number of Christians were killed. There are numerous examples which we can state on this topic.
Going not too far on this topic lets come to our main topic “whom to Vote”. In today’s time do we have anyone who is truly working for the people of India, do we have anyone who can understand what people of India wants. Its only us who know what we want, it’s only us who knows what kind of future we would like to see for us, it’s only us who can take themselves out of tunnel before the train run us down. So, instead of choosing and electing someone, why won’t we get up from our seats and do something to change our world.
